I wasn’t allowed to wear opposing team colors on the field, so naturally I compromised with Team USA 🇺🇸😂 And you already know what I was actually focused on from the stands… keeping tabs on the Chiefs game under my poncho. It’s wild that we’re already wrapping up Week 3 and even wilder that this is my second football season living in New York. I’ll always be a Kansas City girl. That part of me isn’t going anywhere. ❤️💛 But one of my favorite parts of moving to NYC has been building a new life while keeping those roots, saying yes to new experiences and figuring out what this next chapter of my career looks like along the way. The path isn’t nearly as clear-cut as it once was, and my job looks different these days too…some weeks I’m reporting, some I’m creating content, some I’m on a sideline, and sometimes I actually get to sit in the stands and just enjoy a football game.
