The second it starts pouring, Alfie is OUTSIDE. 😂 Rain is his absolute favorite weather, so I take multiple walks in it, scooter through it, get completely soaked… all of it. I once read that some autistic teens have described heavy rain as one of the times they can really feel their body, which I found so fascinating. Whatever it is, it clearly calms something in him. My mom always let me play in the rain, so now I’m doing the same with my kid. And honestly? It is pretty fucking fun. 🌧️🛴 #AutismAwareness
