No. 1 Nebraska volleyball takes its unbeaten 13-0 start into one of the Big Ten’s toughest road environments this week at Penn State. Randy Silver reporting for NTV
The Huskers have built their early-season dominance from the back line forward, leading the nation by holding opponents to a .078 hitting percentage. Nebraska has held eight opponents below .100 and now faces a Penn State team hitting .246 while keeping opponents to .173 and averaging 2.57 blocks per set.
The matchup also comes after Andi Jackson earned AVCA National Player of the Week honors. The senior is hitting .490, but her impact goes beyond the numbers. Nebraska is finding her in transition, out of system and on high balls — making one of the country’s most efficient middles a problem from all over the court.
Bergen Reilly, Olivia Mauch and Dani Busboom Kelly break down the challenge ahead, Nebraska’s defense and why the Huskers still believe they have another level to reach.
