The Miami Marlins are straight up wilding with their pitcher usage down the stretch here. Over the last few weeks, the Marlins have used not one, not two, but three members of their rotation in relief, including former Cy Young award winner Sandy Alcantara, who also happens to lead the majors in innnigs pitched. And, to be clear, they haven't moved those pitchers from the rotation into the bullpen with the season winding down; they've just started using them out of the bullpen in between their starts. It's truly crazy what the Marlins are doing, but it's also -- dare I say -- innovative? #mlb #marlins #innovation
