Tennis Ball Review: Babolat Gold Championship Ball This ball was surprisingly good. The bounce test came in at 25 inches (~63.5cm) before and after playing for 2.5 hours. These balls last and I feel like I could easily use them for two or more practice sessions. The weight of the balls see also decently consistent between 57-58g. Straight out of the can these balls were fantastic. Kevin described them as being between the Wilson Championship and the US Open balls.. I think that’s an accurate description. They do feel kind of heavy, but every ball bounces consistently and it every rally went 7+ shots. I had a lot of fun playing with these and look forward to using them again! Aggressive baseliners and serve bots should love these balls. After cutting them open, the quality of the rubber was high quality. Unfortunately the glue job was not the best.
