This is what a role model looks like… advocacy. Showing girls they belong by showing up strong. Did you know 1/2 of girls opt out of sports by the time they finish puberty & that 7-10 of those girls said they felt like they didn’t belong in sports, that society didn’t support them in sports, and that there were not enough visible female role models in sports? Well right now, girls flag football is one of the places I can show up as a role model and advocate for support by helping make it a varsity sport across the USA. Check your state. Check your school.
