What happens when a pet owner doesn’t have the information they need to properly care for a reptile? 🦎 Gold Award Girl Scout Sicilia saw how a lack of education could impact reptiles and local ecosystems, so she took action. For her #gsGoldAward project, she created educational videos focused on proper bearded dragon care and shared what she learned with younger Girl Scouts through presentations on responsible pet ownership. By making reliable care information more accessible, Sicilia created a resource that can continue helping reptile owners make informed choices long after her project. ✨ Via: girlscoutssierranevada
