Beaver Dam Fire Department crews are reminding the public of the dangers of remote rappelling after a man was critically injured in an 80-foot fall in Mohave County. The department responded Saturday morning to the Ghost Valley Trailhead near Littlefield for a report of a rappelling accident. A man and his 1-year-old child reportedly fell 80 feet. Crews located the pair along with the family members they had been hiking with and requested assistance from Washington County, Utah, and Mohave County deputies. Emergency personnel were able to pull the man up, and he was flown to the hospital in critical condition. The child had minor injuries. Fire officials recommend always rappelling in groups. #Arizona #MohaveCounty #Littlefield #Rappelling #ArizonaNews
