Police say 37-year-old Matthew Button loaded up a cart with nearly $700 worth of merchandise and tried to leave without paying. When security stopped him near the exit, he ditched the entire cart and took off. The escape didn’t last long. Cameras caught the plate on his Jeep, and officers tracked him down about 30 minutes later. Police say he later admitted to the attempted theft.
