An Arizona driver going the wrong way on I-40 told troopers it was all part of a game. Callers reported an SUV heading west in the eastbound lanes near the AZ-99 interchange outside Winslow on Sept. 20. Troopers located it and safely stopped it. The driver told troopers he was playing a game called “Lunatic” with two others, where players purposely drive the wrong way on highways, and that he was the “supervisor” because he was older. He was arrested for endangerment and reckless driving. DPS hasn’t said whether the other two were in the SUV or in other vehicles. DPS is warning drivers not to fall for trends that put lives at risk. Would you know what to do if you spotted a wrong-way driver on the highway? #Arizona #Winslow #I40 #WrongWayDriver #ArizonaDPS
