Arizona just made the consequences for motorcycle lane splitting a lot more serious. 🏍️ Under a new law now in effect, riding between lanes of moving traffic can be treated as reckless driving in Arizona, potentially bringing a Class 2 misdemeanor and a license suspension of up to 90 days. But there’s an important difference: lane filtering is still legal. Motorcyclists can still ride between stopped cars on roads posted at 45 MPH or less, as long as they’re going no faster than 15 MPH. That does not apply on freeways. A second reckless driving conviction within two years can come with even tougher penalties, including possible jail time. Should lane splitting be considered reckless driving in Arizona? 👀 #Arizona #ArizonaNews #Phoenix #Motorcycles #Traffic
