Stepping into my artmiamifairs exhibition with laurentmarthalercontemporary, you’re immediately met with one of my favorite dialogues in the show: the skull cube placed directly in front of one of my portraits. This pairing creates a quiet but powerful tension - a complex duality between life and death, presence and absence, beauty and mortality.
