Oregon will win a National Championship one of these years 😂😭 The Ducks have been one of college football’s most consistent contenders over the past 15 to 20 years without ever claiming a national championship. Under Chip Kelly the Ducks reached the 2011 BCS title game and lost to Auburn, then returned to the sport’s final stage in the first College Football Playoff and fell to Ohio State in January 2015. Later teams under Mario Cristobal and Dan Lanning piled up Pac-12 and Big Ten titles, Rose Bowl appearances, and multiple playoff berths, yet each postseason run ended short of the championship, leaving the program with a long list of near-misses and no national title in the modern era.
