#sayhername On May 13, 2019, Pamela Turner was shot and killed by Baytown police officer Juan Delacruz. The officer tried to arrest Turner for outstanding warrants when she resisted, Officer Delacruz shot Turner with a taser, but was unsuccessful incapacitating her. Turner grabbed the taser as she was laying on her back, the officer alleged that Turner used the taser against him which caused him to allegedly “fear for his life” and shoot Turner FIVE times. The officer’s story began to fall apart when the model of taser he used was released to be a taser that only deployed ONCE, making it impossible for Turner to have actually shot him with it.
