"Coming on the clouds" was never about weather.
Heiser: "rider on the clouds" was a divine title in the ancient world. In the Ugaritic texts it was Baal's official title — and the biblical writers stole it for Yahweh, to displace Baal.
Then Daniel 7:13 hands that title to "one like a son of man." Jesus claims it for himself.
The ancient audience heard a claim to deity, not meteorology. Identity, not altitude.
