Tearing my quad was one of the best things that has happened to me! Let me tell you why… Tearing my quad was a big wake up call for me to get my priorities right. When I got into professional dunking I put God to the side and wanted to live my life my way. Soon enough I was put in check and what I thought my purpose was, which was dunking, was taking away from me in one jump! It was a blessing in disguise because it made me realize that everything of this world is temporary but God is eternal. To I turned to what matters and dug into my relationship with Christ and I’ve never felt so fulfilled. Even though I wasn’t able to dunk, do much on social media, or travel, I had everything I need.
