30 days – that’s how long we’ve got to get ready to defend our democracy and our communities. There is so much at stake for Black Americans: – rising gas and grocery prices – general unaffordability – a faulty healthcare system – technological misuse – the censorship of Black history …the list goes on and on. It is up to us to show up at the polls, know what is up and down the ballot, and be ready to cast our vote as if our lives depend on it – because it does.
