If you’re not having to rest between strength sets, you’re not really getting strong.
Here’s why.
If you’re doing “strength training” and you’re able to lift the weights you’re lifting with back to back sets, void of rest, the weight really isn’t heavy enough to get you strong like you’re pursuing.
Sure there are unique circumstances where this may not be the case in the light of training age/experience, but that’s likely not you reading this :)
So, when you lift weights, build to weights that force rest between sets, organically. Not because your program says so or because this post said so but becuase you legitimately need to sit down and recover in order to move that weight again or even more weight for your next effort.
