#SaturdayStorytime - A feather in my cap So in 2019 I was the fittest on earth… online… in the open…😂 2019 and 2020 were very weird competition years for a lot of reasons, but this story focuses on the open. In 2019 we had 2 opens because they moved the 2020 open to October 2019. There’s a lot of speculation as to why, and I have my thoughts, but that’s not what this is about. What it meant is that after a stumble at the 2019 games I didn’t have to wait as long to get back on the horse. It was the first time we had an open in that part of the year so it was new to everyone how to manage that with other competitions and off season. At the time I was in really good shape and was still trying to focus on doing some fun things in the off season. As a result I planned a lot of travel during the open, something I don’t really recommend 😂.
