My favorite pastor, Doug Wekenman, preached a few weeks ago about how you have to “hate the fear of regret more than the fear of rejection.”
And that one stuck with me.
A few weeks later, Jared Kleinstein and David Herman were sharing their first iteration of Fresh Tape’s upcoming strategy plan with me, and I saw they wanted to hire someone in a growth marketing role to help shape and tell the Fresh Tape story.
And I thought... why not me?
I’ve loved Fresh Tape for more than seven years. It was my first baby before I had three real babies.
I built our first employee handbook. I’ve decorated three offices, selfishly using colors from my own homes so they always felt a little like home. I started our women’s luncheon. I’ve worked across nearly every corner of the business. And after seven years, I know our story, our people and our clients like I know the back of my hand.
