With Regionals behind us, it’s NEXT STOP NATIONALS! But first let’s celebrate our last two tbirds that competed at the NCAA West Prelims on Saturday. Both women were up against some of the deepest fields in the entire meet! ⚡️Ajia Hughes: Ranked 48th -> finished 27th ⚡️Haley Anderson: Ranked 26th -> finished 43rd Notably, Haley Anderson practiced some brave running by cementing herself into a qualifying spot early in the race against spectacular competition. The field ended being too much to surmount but she fought strong through the finish 💪 Ajia Hughes jumped against one of the strongest women’s HJ fields in history with all of the top 12 athletes clearing 1.82m or 5-11 1/2.
