Meet our first Member Spotlight, ✨Giorgy Ruiz✨, a junior journalism major with a minor in sports media. Outside of Girls Club, Giorgy is involved with @tstvsports , where she serves as a reporter, gameday producer, and social media co-manager. She is also the social media manager for @thecorralut and president of a future women’s basketball organization. Giorgy’s future plans include working with Texas Athletics to highlight the human side of athletes and shed light on the immense dedication required to succeed in sports. “Don’t let anyone tell you you’re doing too much. In a male-dominated field, it can feel like you’re overlooked, but surround yourself with people who value you and your work, no matter your gender. Your efforts matter.” Thank you, Giorgy, for all you do. We’re so glad you chose Girls Club, and we can’t wait to see what you do in the future! 🫶 #womeninsportsphotography #tstv #thecorralut #womensupportingwomen #girlsclubtexas #explore #ifyousawthisearliernoyoudid...
