As a child of the early 2000s, my days were filled with car rides around my hometown with my mom as she blasted iconic music both new and old (at the time!) like John Lennon, the Gorillaz, Pearl Jam, the Fugees, and so many more. As I get older, I feel sooo nostalgic towards this time in my life and I’m constantly looking for ways to satisfy that nostalgia. I found the book DRIVE by Kate Stewart recently and it’s literally the exact combination of nostalgia, good music, and a cool storyline that I could sink into. I’ve really been loving this trend of colorful edges on books lately, it’s so cute!! DRIVE is also so awesome because it has a playlist you can follow as you read to really help you sink into the narrative. Alsoooo, DRIVE was just released on June 30th but you don’t have to wait too long for the sequel…REVERSE came out July 28th!!! #katestewart #bittersweetsymphonyduet #nostalgia #early2000s #AD
