An injury changed his path. It didn’t end his story. 💯 Austin Simmons went from an ankle injury and losing his starting spot at Ole Miss to making his case among college football’s top quarterbacks at Missouri. Against No. 8 Florida: 23/30, 340 yards, 2 touchdowns and ZERO interceptions. Missouri wins 45–17. And give that backfield its respect! Jamal Roberts put up 211 yards and THREE touchdowns on 24 carries. Simmons picked them apart. Roberts wore them down. A setback isn’t the finish line. South Florida’s own is writing his next chapter. 🐯🔥 #Footballville #AustinSimmons #Mizzou #NextGenPrep #CoachSimmonsdpodcast
