Nebraska senior middle blocker Andi Jackson was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference office announced on Monday. Press Release Courtesy of Nebraska Athletics- Jackson becomes the third Husker to receive Big Ten Player of the Week recognition in back-to-back weeks, joining Madi Kubik in 2021 (Oct. 11, Oct. 18) and Kelsey Robinson in 2013 (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18). Jackson’s all-around performance led the top-ranked Huskers to a 2-0 week at No. 16 Penn State and Maryland. On the week, the senior averaged 3.83 kills per set and 2.00 blocks per set to become one of two players nationally with at least 3.50 kills per set and 2.00 blocks per set. Across the two matches, Jackson totaled 23 kills and hit .526 on 38 swings while adding 12 blocks on the defensive end.
