US President Donald Trump has said there will not be a US export ban on diesel. It comes after he initially threatened to ban diesel exports - to bring US prices down - unless Europe agreed to release its fuel reserves. Following a meeting of G7 leaders, the group agreed to release 100 million barrels of their energy reserves to ease supply pressures that have caused prices to skyrocket. But the US president seems to have got his way, according to chief North America correspondent Gary O'Donaghue.
