Eyewitness footage appeared to show a large plume of smoke rising from an Aramco oil facility in Riyadh on Saturday. There was no immediate confirmation about the fire from Saudi authorities, nor Aramco. The fire may be linked to escalating hostilities between Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Houthi group, who have stepped up attacks on Saudi cities and energy infrastructure. The leader of Yemen's Saudi-backed government announced the beginning of a major military operation on Sunday, aimed at taking back Houthi-controlled territory. The Houthi ministry reported a Saudi strike on a factory in Sanaa that same day. #houthis #aramco #saudiarabia #riyadh
