jazzfest Second Thursday | 04-30-26 shot on canonusa EOS 1DX-MI Second weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot for the Jazz and Heritage Archive as a part of the volunteer Jazz Fest photographer program. My assignment was to photograph certain food areas, the kids tent, the food and heritage stage, and contemporary arts and crafts. With the food in particular I tried to use motion and the crowd’s movement to add elements to the images (slides 2, 16, 20 as example). It was a new, fun way to experience Jazz Fest. I have been every year of my life but always as a spectator and breaking the 4th wall was fun.
