Since moving to Haarlem in 2020, Matt Stuart (mattu1) had regularly heard the high-performance cars of Zandvoort from his home, just eight kilometres from the circuit. He had followed the races and watched the crowds arrive, yet had never experienced an F1 weekend there himself.⁣ ⁣ That changed on Super Friday at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix. Cycling towards the circuit, Stuart found the familiar route transformed by thousands of supporters heading to the final Formula 1 race to be held at Zandvoort.
