This year, one of the standout projects was Trace Erase, and it was seriously impressive. The demo showed how you can remove not just an object, but even a light source from a photo, and the entire lighting in the scene adapts automatically. Shadows shift, reflections fade, and the image rebalances itself as if that light was never there. It’s like watching Photoshop understand the physics of light in real time.
