Inspired by the Chinese tradition of shadow play, designer Steve Leung and lighting artist Tino Kwan have created an “Oriental Theatre of Light and Shadow” shaped by natural illumination, semi-translucent materials and shifting light. Set in rich red and black tones that evoke auspicious power, the space is punctuated by a Wulu archway, crystal chandeliers reminiscent of sunlight through bamboo, and a Wulu patterned skylight.
