DOUG FORD EXPOSED‼️😨🤦🏾‍♂️ Ontario’s OSAP spending is facing new scrutiny after hundreds of millions in additional grant funding flowed to private career colleges. 👀🇨🇦 Newly reported data obtained through a freedom-of-information request shows Ontario spent $465 million more on OSAP grants in 2024–25 compared with 2023–24, with 95% of that increase going to students at private career colleges. Private career-college students received nearly $1 billion in OSAP grants that year, with just seven career colleges accounting for $385 million. The Ontario Liberals’ colleges and universities critic, Tyler Watt, is now asking Auditor General Shelley Spence to conduct a value-for-money audit examining the spending increases and whether the province provided adequate oversight.
