Ahmed Rashid is a born Canadian… what does his NAME have to do with anything? 🤦🏾‍♂️🇨🇦 Team members of Ahmed Rashid, a candidate running for councillor in Ottawa’s Ward 10, Gloucester-Southgate, allegedly shared an email they say was sent to the candidate. The message tells Rashid he should not be taking a political seat because he was allegedly not “born and raised in Canada,” before stating, “We don’t want your culture or your messed up beliefs in our country” and telling him to “GET OUT.” Rashid is officially among the certified candidates running to represent Ward 10 in Ottawa’s October 26 municipal election. There’s no space for hate in Ottawa… Thoughts⁉️🤔⤵️ . . . . *Post for Awareness purposes only. ShottawaTV has not independently verified the sender or authenticity of the email.
