The Swope has always had free admission, but do you know why? This Museum Monday, we uncover the story behind our free art museum. Preparations to create an American Art gallery started in 1939! We hope you take advantage of the legacy of Sheldon Swope and visit us. We are open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-5pm.
