Ferrari’s first fully electric car was shaped with help from Jony Ive, the legendary former Apple design chief behind products like the iPhone, iMac and Apple Watch.
⠀
The Ferrari Luce was developed with Ive, Marc Newson and their design collective LoveFrom, which worked with Ferrari on the exterior, interior and user experience.
⠀
Inside, the Luce blends digital displays with precision-machined physical buttons, rotary controls and glass elements instead of relying on one giant touchscreen.
⠀
The Apple influence is obvious in the minimalist forms, tactile controls and even details like the key and interface design.
⠀
Ferrari’s first EV produces more than 1,000 horsepower from four electric motors and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 2.5 seconds.
⠀
Is this the closest we will ever get to seeing what an Apple-designed car could have looked like?
