Kyle Busch was so frustrated after crashing in the rain at New Hampshire that he drove up behind the NASCAR pace car and gave its rear bumper a very literal adjustment.
ā
Busch had started from pole and led the opening laps of the 2021 race before rain made the track increasingly slippery and sent his No. 18 Toyota into the outside wall.
ā
While circulating under caution afterward, he made contact with the pace car hard enough to visibly damage its rear bumper.
ā
The moment became even funnier when the pace-car driver appeared to rub the bumper back into place like nothing happened.
ā
Busch openly criticized NASCAR for keeping the race green as the rain intensified, saying conditions had already been getting worse before the crash.
ā
Despite the contact with the pace car, NASCAR ultimately decided not to penalize him.
ā
Was this the most Kyle Busch way possible to show NASCAR he was mad?
