How To Do Negative Push-Ups | Correct Technique
Key technique points:
• Start in the top position of a push-up on your toes, hands a little wider than shoulder width, shoulders straight above your hands
• Build full body tension, engage the core, the glutes and the legs
• Go down as slowly and controlled as possible, all the way down to your chest
• Keep the arms around 45 degrees from the body, not flared out and not too close, and lean forward a little, then get back up however you can
Negative Push-Ups train the chest, triceps and front deltoids under controlled tension through a full range of motion.
