Very pleased to see our bedroom selected by homesandgardensuk as one of their 18 Rooms to Remember for the Homes & Gardens Design Awards 2026.
The room is part of a 20th-century Chelsea mews house, where we wanted the bedroom to feel calm, softly layered and quietly luxurious.
Homes & Gardens have described it as - This bedroom captures architect Nancy Gouldstone’s softer side, with an enveloping yet deliberately low upholstered headboard, muted pinks and sage greens creating a calm, boutique-hotel feel. The designer also carried details between adjoining spaces: the headboard fabric and wooden trim are repeated in the dressing room, giving the scheme a sense of cohesion.
The Readers’ Choice Award is now open for voting — if you like our room, we would be enormously grateful for your vote.
Voting closes Friday 2 October. Link in bio.
