A baby seal was spotted wandering along a Wellington street before several people helped guide it away from the road. The sighting came amid an unusual surge in seals appearing around the New Zealand city, with the Department of Conservation receiving almost 75 reports in less than 72 hours. Officials say young seals can turn up in unusual places during 'seal silly season', but the recent number of sightings was higher than expected. 🎥 Christine Smith via Storyful #seal #viral #newzealand #wellington #animals
