Eyewitness footage appeared to show a large plume of smoke rising from an Aramco oil facility in Riyadh on Saturday.⁣ ⁣ There was no immediate confirmation about the fire from Saudi authorities, nor Aramco.⁣ ⁣ The fire may be linked to escalating hostilities between Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Houthi group, who have stepped up attacks on Saudi cities and energy infrastructure. ⁣ ⁣ The leader of Yemen's Saudi-backed government announced the beginning of a major military operation on Sunday, aimed at taking back Houthi-controlled territory. The Houthi ministry reported a Saudi strike on a factory in Sanaa that same day.⁣ ⁣ #houthis #aramco #saudiarabia #riyadh⁣
