The nycmarathon isn’t just for adults. Free kids running events are back in all five boroughs, October 24-25! #NYRRSponsored The TCS New York City Marathon Kids Kickoff starts marathon week, and it’s completely free. It’s part of Rising New York Road Runners, a free youth program by nyrr that inspires kids to discover the joy of movement. The events take place at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Astoria Park, St. Mary’s Park, Ocean Breeze Park, and Central Park. Kids aged 2 to 18 of all abilities are welcome, and every kid gets a New Balance T-shirt and finisher medal, plus there’s a festival with activities.
