Consider this my case for Cannes. 🇫🇷 Recently, I got to go back to one of my favourite hotels in the world, Carlton Cannes, and it reminded me just how much I love this place. I think people often see Cannes as overdone, or opt for destinations that are a bit less mainstream. Yes, there’s a lot of wealth, and it’s not a hidden little gem tucked away. But it’s arguably one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on the French Riviera, and the Carlton is right in the middle of it. I stayed here for the first time in 2019, before the renovation, and since its reopening in 2023, it’s just spectacular. Every time I check in, I feel like I can just exhale. It’s luxurious, comfortable and elegant, without feeling over the top or ostentatious. And the service is immaculate. The whole team here is exceptional.
