Artist Taylor Mazer (tlmazer) carefully removes the masking from a completed drawing in ink of the imagined interior of Edward Hopper’s 1924 painting: “Haskell’s House.” Matching the architectural layout and time of day through carefully planned perspective drawing, Taylor recreated what he imagined the interior of the house would look like. “I’ve loved Edward Hopper’s work for as long as I can remember. Analyzing and recreating “Haskell’s House” felt almost like stepping into one of his paintings.” 🏡 Edward Hopper, “Haskell’s House,” 1924, watercolor over graphite on paperboard, 13 x 19 in., Gift of Herbert A.
