As Dr. Jason Snibbe, orthopedic surgeon for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Kardashians, shares with Andrea Miller, we don't just lose muscle mass as we get older. We lose bone density, too. And for women, especially as osteoporosis risk increases, resistance training can become incredibly important. That doesn't mean you have to become a powerlifter. Dr. Snibbe recommends simple ways to add resistance: šŸ‹ļø Squats šŸ‹ļø Lunges šŸ‹ļø Leg presses 🚶 Walking with a lightly weighted vest Putting appropriate stress on your bones helps give them the stimulus they need to maintain strength and density. And one of the simplest things you can do? Keep moving. Because staying active isn't just about maintaining your appearance or your weight. It's about protecting the strength, mobility, and independence you'll want decades from now. šŸŽ™ļø Watch the full Getting Open episode for more from Dr. Jason Snibbe on joint health, bone density, exercise, and staying strong as you age. #GettingOpen #D...
