Coach Prime said it after Colorado’s 23-13 loss to Baylor: “We’re better than this.” But four games into the season — and after back-to-back losses — it’s time for “better” to start showing up on Saturdays. Colorado outgained Baylor, had more first downs, controlled the football longer and fought back to tie the game in the fourth quarter. And they STILL walked out of Waco with a loss. So what’s really wrong? This Morning Wood ain’t just about JuJu Lewis vs. Isaac Wilson. We’re talking 3-of-15 on third down, penalties, explosive plays, finishing drives, Joseph Williams stepping up, and a defense that gave Colorado a chance to win. Now Texas Tech is coming to Boulder for Homecoming, and Coach Prime’s Buffs have reached an early-season crossroads. Potential ain’t enough anymore. BETTER HAS TO SHOW UP. Uncle Neely breaks it all down on Thee Pregame Network. #CoachPrime #ColoradoBuffs #DeionSanders #CUBuffs #Big12Football #MorningWood #TheePregameNetwork
