Lee and Union each earned a point in the Gulf South Conference standings after playing to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 3 in Jackson, Tennessee. Max Rode gave Lee the early advantage in the 10th minute off a pass from Simpson Moore, but Union answered in the 69th minute when Lawson Harvey scored the equalizer. The matchup remained balanced throughout, with both teams attempting 16 shots. Lee placed 10 shots on goal and Union had nine, while Lee goalkeeper Charles Carriglitto and Union goalkeeper Patrick Schott each made eight saves.
