Stunning sketches of cats created by the Chinese artist Shou Xin, true masterpieces of minimalism and movement. 🖊️🐈 Based in Henan, this contemporary artist has gained worldwide recognition by capturing the very essence and personality of cats through simple graphite and pencil sketches. Shou Xin often focuses the most delicate and sharp details on the eyes, nose, and mouth, giving each cat an incredibly vivid and expressive presence. The rest of the body is generally suggested by wild, loose, and dynamic lines. It masterfully uses the negative space to give the impression that the cat is stretching, dancing, or preparing to leap off the page. The main tools are limited to pencils, erasers and small knives to create unique textures and scratch the paper. Cat sketches by shouxin13141 🤍 Choose your Favorite Art ?
