There are some stories that are incredibly difficult to tell — but too important not to share. Some things are bigger than golf. The two brothers in this photo are Joseph (left) and Jason, a good friend of BGC (right). In 2024, Joseph tragically passed away, far too soon, after a long struggle with mental illness. To his family Joseph was quiet, kind, a little nerdy, and someone with an enormous heart. Looking at this photo, you simply see two brothers standing together on a beautiful day. You don’t see the pain that can exist beneath the surface. For Jason, Joseph wasn’t only his big brother. He was his best friend. His loss left a hole in his family that can never truly be filled. But Jason is trying to make sure Joseph’s story doesn’t end with that loss.
