Hal Jordan wasn’t chosen because he was fearless. He was chosen because he could overcome great fear. 💚 This origin hits harder when you trace it back: a little boy watches his test-pilot father die; years later, Hal is still carrying that fear when Abin Sur’s ring finds him in the desert. After Abin diverts the burning ship away from Coast City, the ring names Hal as his successor. Not fearless—still willing to face it. Which moment lands hardest for you: Hal’s memory of his dad, Abin Sur’s final choice, or Hal’s first flight? @greenlantern @wbd @dccomics @dcukofficial @jamesgunn @warnerbrosuk #GreenLantern #HalJordan #AbinSur #Atrocitus #GreenLanternCorps #DCComics #DCUniverse #ComicBookLore #ComicBookFans #SuperheroOrigin #Willpower #OvercomeFear #CoastCity #ComicReels
