Food, culture, and stories came together today as our SHP community celebrated a LatinX and Hispanic Heritage Month Community Life Gathering followed by the Mi Gente LatinX Food Festival! Throughout the festival, students experienced a variety of foods while learning more about the cultures, histories, and traditions they represent. Heritage Spanish Honors students presented on influential Latino figures they admire, including Bad Bunny, Canelo, Chicharito, Shakira, and others, sharing their contributions and impact and adding deeper meaning to the celebration by inviting our community to learn from one another. It was a joyful morning of sharing, discovery, and connection—celebrating the many voices and traditions that enrich our Sacred Heart community. #shsatherton #latinxfoodfestival #latinxheritage #culturalcelebration #studentvoices
